Types of Pet Feeders We Manufacture
Programmable Automatic Feeders
The core of the category: a hopper, an auger or rotor dispenser, and a control board that dispenses a set number of portions on a schedule. Available in 3L, 4L and 6L hopper capacities, with 1–20 portions per meal and 1–6 meals per day. These are the units that pet owners buy for weekends away and for managing overweight cats on strict portion control.
WiFi Smart Feeders with Camera
Our fastest-growing SKU class. A 1080p or 2K camera with two-way audio sits above the bowl, so owners can check that the pet actually ate, talk to them, and receive a motion alert when the feeding happens. Night vision and a wide-angle lens are standard on these platforms. Camera feeders command a much higher retail price than plain dispensers, which makes them the preferred SKU for brands competing on value rather than price.
Gravity Feeders
No electronics, no app — a reservoir refills the bowl by gravity. Cheap, reliable, and still the right answer for dry-food free-feeding. We produce these in 2L to 10L sizes, mostly as companion SKUs for brands that want an entry price point.
Selective / Microchip Feeders
For multi-pet households where one animal is on prescription food, or where one pet steals another’s meals. The lid opens only for a registered collar tag or an implanted microchip. This is a genuinely differentiated product with far less competition than standard dispensers, and it sells at a premium in veterinary and specialist channels.
Water Fountains
Circulating-pump fountains with multi-stage filtration, 1.5L to 2.5L capacity, and near-silent pumps. Often sold alongside feeders as a bundle.

App Features
On the Tuya / Smart Life platform your customers get: remote manual feeding, seven-day schedules, feeding history and timestamps, push alerts for successful feeding / jam / low food level, and — on camera models — live video, snapshot and two-way talk. Multi-user sharing lets a whole household control one feeder. For OEM projects we can brand the app, or expose API/SDK access for your own app team.
Food Safety and Certification
Anything that touches pet food needs documented food-contact compliance. Our standard feeder platforms use food-grade ABS/PP with FDA and LFGB food-contact test reports for the bowl and hopper, plus CE / FCC / RoHS for the electronics. If you are selling on Amazon EU, plan for this documentation before listing — it is the single most common cause of listing suspension in this category.
OEM/ODM Process
- Platform selection: we propose 2–3 existing platforms matched to your target retail price and capacity requirement.
- Sampling: existing-platform samples ship within about a week; custom tooling adds 30–45 days.
- Branding: logo on housing, custom colour, retail colour box, printed multi-language manual, and branded app if required.
- Certification: existing test reports provided; new market certificates arranged as part of the project.
- Production: 25–35 days after deposit and sample sign-off.
MOQ and Lead Time
Private-label MOQ starts at 100 units per SKU on existing platforms with branded packaging. Fully custom Industrial Design requires tooling and typically starts at 3000–5000 units. Standard lead time is 25–35 days, and Q4 (October–December) is the peak season for pet products — place orders early. We support retail packaging, FBA labelling and direct shipment to Amazon warehouses.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the feeder work if the WiFi drops?
Yes. Schedules are stored on the device, so programmed meals continue without a network connection. Only remote manual feeding and live video require connectivity — which is exactly why battery backup matters.
What kibble size does it handle?
Standard mechanisms handle 2–15 mm dry kibble. Very large or very irregular pieces can jam any feeder; we select the auger pitch to match your target food, and the anti-jam mechanism reverses to clear blockages.
Can the feeder dispense wet food?
Standard auger feeders are dry-food only. For wet food we supply refrigerated or ice-pack tray models with timed lid opening — ask about these platforms specifically, as the MOQ is higher.
Do you hold food-contact certificates?
Yes — FDA and LFGB reports for food-contact parts, plus CE / FCC / RoHS for electronics and UN38.3 for battery shipment.
